Scouting report

Brody Bailey is an exciting young quarterback prospect out of North Forsyth High School in Cumming, Georgia, who already displays an impressive ability to make throws to every area of the field. Bailey has a strong, confident arm and consistently shows that he can stretch a defense vertically. His deep ball is one of the first things that stands out on film, as he does an excellent job of putting the football right in the bucket and giving his receivers an opportunity to make plays without having to break stride. Bailey also shows impressive accuracy and versatility within the vertical passing game. Whether he is throwing a post, fade, or corner route, he demonstrates the touch and ball placement needed to connect downfield. He has enough arm strength to attack the wide side of the field from either hash, including delivering the deep out with velocity and accuracy. That ability forces defenses to defend the entire width and depth of the field and gives his offense plenty of options within the passing game. What makes Bailey even more intriguing is that he isn't simply looking for the home-run throw. He shows the ability to see and attack the middle of the field as well, connecting with tight ends and slot receivers on shallow and intermediate routes. He can work through areas where quarterbacks have to recognize coverage, find open windows, and deliver the football accurately between defenders. His ability to distribute the ball to different positions and different levels of the field is an encouraging sign for a quarterback who is still only in the Class of 2031. The film also gives a glimpse of Bailey's ability as a runner. While his arm is clearly a major part of his game, he has enough athleticism to become a dual-threat option when his number is called. When the play breaks down or the opportunity presents itself, Bailey can use his legs to pick up yards and create another problem for opposing defenses. With plenty of development still ahead of him, Brody Bailey is definitely an exciting young quarterback prospect to keep an eye on as he continues his football journey.
